It has good compatibility with most substrates, high resistance to extraction, and low volatility.

高分子量抗氧化劑，集反式酯化反應觸媒與性能改質劑於一身，與聚酯有極高相容性並且非常耐萃取。在顏色及減少乙醛、環狀寡聚物含量方面，很適合食品級PET的應用。其他松香樹酯、丁腈橡膠及聚醚橡膠亦適用。
A high molecular weight stabilizer, (trans)-esterification catalyst and property modifier all in one. highly compatible with polyesters and very resistant to extraction. Suitable for food grade PET applications favorably modifying the properties of PET with respect to color, acetaldehyde (AA) and cyclic oligomer content. Irganox® 1425 is also an efficient catalyst and stabilizer for rosin esters and it is an extraction resistant antioxidant for rubber applications, especially based on NBR and ECO.
